Senior/Staff Front-End Engineer (JavaScript/React)

You will build responsive, scalable, accessible, and high-performance web applications in collaboration with designers, product managers, AI engineers, and back-end engineers. Write clean, modular, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.js. Develop sophisticated user interfaces for AI-powered features including conversational interfaces, real-time AI interactions, and complex data visualizations.

Requirements

• Optimize applications for speed, user engagement, and deliver seamless experiences while handling Al model responses and streaming data.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and enforce code quality through peer reviews and testing.
• Contribute to enhancing frontend architecture while maintaining the highest standards in security, accessibility, and design, particularly for Al-human interaction patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of front-end development experience with high-scale web applications
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, or Angular
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development
• Experience implementing complex Ul with CSS, animation, orchestration and responsiveness
• Experience integrating with Al/ML systems, LLMs, or conversational Al platforms
• Proficiency in building chat interfaces, streaming responses, and real-time Al interactions
• Bachelor's degree in engineering

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
• Experience integrating RESTful APls and WebSocket connections for real-time Al communications
• Experience with Next.js for full-stack Al applications and API route development
• Node.js proficiency for build tooling, server-side rendering, and Al API integrations
• Experience with Al/ML APIs (OpenAl, Anthropic, Google Al, AWS Bedrock, etc.)
• Understanding of LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, and Al workflow UX
• Experience building interfaces for Al agents, multi-step Al workflows, or Al-assisted tools
• Familiarity with Al model response handling, streaming responses, error states, and fallback experiences
• Understanding of authentication patterns and API security for Al applications
• Experience with Full Stack development will be a big plus
• Background in performance monitoring, web vitals, and real-time debugging tools
• Experience with data visualization libraries for Al analytics and insights
• Knowledge of Al safety UX patterns, human-in-the-loop interfaces, and Al transparency
• Ability to drive frontend platform improvements, set best practices, and mentor engineers
• Proven ability to influence technical decisions and drive large-scale initiatives
