Zaid Kahn
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Zaid Kahn is CEO and Co-Founder at Neuron Factory. Zaid was formerly Vice President in Microsoft's Azure division where he led a team focusing on advanced architecture and engineering efforts for Microsoft’s AI infrastructure, as well as designing and building AI training systems for key strategic partners like OpenAI.

Zaid was part of the technical leadership team across Microsoft that set AI hardware strategy for training and inference. Prior to Microsoft, Zaid was head of the infrastructure at LinkedIn where he was responsible for all aspects of architecture and engineering for datacenters, networking, hardware design and software development for managing infrastructure as code.

Prior to LinkedIn Zaid was involved in a few early stage start ups including the founding engineering team at WebEx that was later acquired by Cisco.

Zaid contributed to major efforts in Open Hardware through Open Compute Platform (OCP) where he served as Chair of the board. 

Zaid holds several patents in networking and is currently an external advisory board member for UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department.

Zaid has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from the University of the South Pacific.   He lives in San Francisco bay area with his wife and two sons.

Salil Pandit
Co-Founder & Chief Technical Officer
Salil Pandit is CTO and Co-Founder at Neuron Factory. Salil was formerly the CPTO at PrimaryBid, a UK-based Series C fintech focused on delivering retail inclusion in the capital markets. He led the Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, and Security teams overseeing 300+ deals across the US, UK, EU, and Middle East.

Prior to PrimaryBid, Salil spent nearly a decade at Alphabet across Waymo, YouTube, and Google Glass. During his tenure at Waymo, he was part of the core team to launch Waymo One, the transportation as a service product - now widely available. He focused heavily on delivering a world class experience for both riders and the operations team supporting them.

Prior to Waymo, he was on the founding team of YouTubeTV and an early engineer on Google Glass.

Salil has a Computer Science degree from CalPoly Pomona and holds 20+ patents.

He grew up all over the world and currently resides in San Francisco with his wife and daughter.

Tom De Raedt
Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer
Tom De Raedt is Chief Commercial Officer of Neuron Factory. He previously founded EscherCloud, one of Europe’s first AI infrastructure companies, and Great-Grey Investments, a prominent real estate development firm. He also founded the Silver Falcon project in Amsterdam, a 100 MW data center campus designed for high-density use.

Prior to founding his real estate and AI ventures, Tom worked at Barclays Capital for eight years in the structured solutions team.

Tom has a breadth of experience in the construction industry spanning from datacenters, commercial and smart cities. Tom brings his expertise and passion to help global companies become more operationally efficient with a particular focus on construction, fast-moving consumer goods, energy and finance industries.Tom holds a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Ghent and an Applied Economics degree from the University of Antwerp.

He lives in Antwerp with his wife and two daughters.
